Why should I hire Dom Construction for my siding , painting or roofing needs?
- We offer a wide range of expertise in the areas of siding, painting, and roofing. Our master craftsmen in each of these areas are specially trained and extremely knowledgeable. We will take the time to answer your questions and give you different options to meet your budget and to get the quality finished product you desire. We do not just sell one product or push our company's agenda. We are looking for what you as the customer want and therefore will provide you with a variety of siding, roofing, and even paint materials. That may mean wood, vinyl, aluminum, or fiber cement siding. It could be that you would like a tile, cedar shake, metal, or architectural composition roof. Whatever the product you feel best fits your needs is the product we will install. This makes us unbiased toward product which we feel makes us truly able to help you find the best solution to your exterior restoration needs. You will find that we are reasonably priced and very detailed quality conscious.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes! In order to be licensed as a General Contractor, a company must carry a $10,000.00 bond and a minimum of $300,000 in liability insurance. We do carry the $10,000 bond but we have a $2,000,000 insurance policy to insure your full protection and peace of mind.

Do you Warranty your work?
Yes! We warranty all labor on siding, painting, or roofing with a transferable five ( 5) year warranty against any problems caused by improper installation or application or failure from the same. The products we use all have transferable warranties ( please see some of the web site product links for more information). All warranties are written out in detail so you know exactly what is covered before you make any decisions.

How long does the typical siding, roofing, and paint job take?
Will my house be left unattended for any length of time before it is completed?
This is a common question. Many times customers have had bad experiences with other contractors in the past who have begun a job and strung it out over weeks or even months with very slow progress. We do not operate in this manner. Although we are very busy, we definitely take the time to do the job right. This does not, however, mean that we are slow. On the contrary, because we know what we are doing and are very good at what we do, we can side the average house in 5-7 days, paint in 1-2 days, and roof in 1-2 days. We believe that the more efficient we are the happier you will be. There is no need for a job to drag on for weeks at a time and our professional craftsmen make sure your project gets completed in a timely manner.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the different products on the market?
There are so many choices and it seems that everyone says that their product is the only way to go!
Good question! With as many bids as you get, you will also get different answers to that question. We appreciate working with an educated customer. If you haven't already, begin to look up on the internet the different products you are interested in. This way you will be able to tell when a salesman is giving you a straight answer or if he is just pushing his product. Become familiar with the different types of siding and roofing and get a feel for the "look" you want. This way when we meet at your home, you will have plenty of ideas and questions. We will take the time to help you wade through your options and put the pieces of the puzzle together.

What is your availability?
How far in advance do I have to book my project?
Usually 4-6 weeks is enough time. In the Spring and Winter we can book on shorter notice. As the middle of Summer approaches we may need more advanced notice. We do make exceptions when sales are pending or some other urgent need exists. We will do our best to work around your schedule.
